Apple, X, Airbnb, and Google are integrating stablecoins

Tech and financial giants are actively working on integrating crypto tools.

Apple, X, Airbnb, and Google are holding preliminary talks with crypto companies about integrating stablecoins. These companies see such assets as a way to reduce transaction costs and optimize international payments.

One of the key executives at Google Cloud confirmed that the company is actively exploring stablecoin integration. In his view, this technology could be the biggest upgrade in payments since the introduction of the SWIFT network. It was also revealed that the cloud service has already accepted several test transactions from clients in PYUSD via PayPal.

Airbnb stated that while it does not currently plan to integrate crypto payments, it is exploring all possible avenues for improving user interaction, including developments in the field of digital assets.

Elon Musk’s social media platform X is also considering integrating stablecoins into its X Money payment service. Stripe is mentioned among the potential partners.

Apple representatives recently held talks with Circle leadership. Among the areas of collaboration between the USDC issuer and the tech giant are strategic partnerships in the field of payments.

• the $1.1 billion acquisition of the Bridge infrastructure platform by payment company Stripe

The stablecoin sector is growing and becoming institutionalized – the total market capitalization has already surpassed $250 billion, with USDT from Tether accounting for over $154 billion. USDC holds $61 billion.
